Yesterday, the hubby decided it was past time to mow the lawn. The issue being, that we have a simple push mower (the kind that doesn't require electricity or gas).. and when the grass gets too high... it is tortuous to use. With having so much rain the past week or so... things got a bit out of hand. And so, we had to borrow my mom's mower (gas powered).

I guess I am a weirdo... because I ran around the yard trying to get every single daisy picked before the big "yard slaughter"... Now we have a gorgeous bouquet on the table.
